Job Description

Our client, a global leader in Clinical Diagnostics industry, is currently seeking an KeyAccount Manager / Senior Key Account Manager (Molecular Diagnostics) to join its Malaysia team based in Selangor.

This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially driven sales professional to manage and grow a Molecular Diagnostics portfolio, develop strategic customer relationships, and drive business growth across Malaysia.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic account plans to achieve sales targets within the assigned territory.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities while strengthening existing customer relationships.
  • Build strong partnerships with clinicians, laboratory managers, procurement teams, hospital management, and key opinion leaders (KOLs).
  • Manage the full sales cycle, including tenders, quotations, negotiations, and contract execution.
  • Deliver consultative, value-based solutions by understanding customer needs and laboratory workflows.
  • Maintain accurate sales forecasts and effectively manage the opportunity pipeline through CRM.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify growth opportunities.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation and high customer satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, Biomedical Science, Medical Laboratory Science, Life Sciences, or a related discipline.
  • 3–5 years of sales experience in Molecular Diagnostics, Clinical Diagnostics, IVD, or Life Sciences.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing key customer accounts.
  • Experience working with government hospitals, private hospitals, or reference laboratories is highly preferred.
  • Strong consultative selling, communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
  • Familiarity with tender management and distributor engagement is an added advantage.
  • Willingness to travel within Malaysia.
