Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced Application Maintenance / Production Support Engineer (L3) to manage and support critical SWIFT-based applications in a secure financial services environment. The role involves ensuring system stability, handling complex incidents, and maintaining high availability of SWIFT solutions such as AMH, AMG, and SAG. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in SWIFT messaging, production support, and security compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide L3 production support for SWIFT applications (AMH, AMG, SAG), ensuring high availability and performance
  • Monitor systems, troubleshoot incidents, and perform root cause analysis for critical issues
  • Manage and support SWIFT messaging flows, including MTxxx formats and ISO 20022 standards
  • Collaborate with infrastructure, network, and application teams to resolve cross-functional issues
  • Ensure compliance with security standards, including encryption, MFA/2FA, and audit requirements
  • Perform system maintenance, patching, and upgrades in Linux environments
  • Develop and maintain support documentation, runbooks, and knowledge base articles
  • Participate in on-call support and incident management processes
  • Identify opportunities for automation and process improvements

Job Qualifications

Required Skills:

  • 6-9 years of experience in application support or production support (L3 level)
  • Hands-on experience with SWIFT solutions: AMH, AMG, SAG (mandatory)
  • Strong knowledge of SWIFT messaging standards (MTxxx, ISO 20022)
  • Experience working in secure financial services environments with knowledge of audits, encryption, and MFA/2FA
  • Strong experience with Oracle Database 19c
  • Proficiency in Linux environments (RHEL or equivalent such as SUSE Linux)
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to handle critical incidents and work under pressure

Nice-to-Have Skills:

  • Experience with Java Spring Boot
  • Knowledge of shell scripting for automation
  • Familiarity with application servers such as JBoss
  • Experience with web servers like Apache
  • Exposure to Citrix environments
  • Understanding of DevOps practices and automation tools
  • Experience working in ITIL-based support environments
