Senior Leasing Manager

We are seeking an experienced and commercially driven Leasing Manager / Senior Leasing Manager to lead retail leasing initiatives across our portfolio. This role is responsible for driving leasing performance, optimising tenant mix, enhancing asset value, and building strong tenant relationships to support long-term business objectives.

The ideal candidate will possess a valid RES licence or equivalent qualification and bring a strong track record in retail leasing and deal-making. Experience within the luxury retail segment will be highly regarded. In addition, the successful candidate will demonstrate strong leadership capabilities, with the ability to mentor and develop a high-performing team while collaborating effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

You will have an opportunity to play a key role in shaping the leasing strategy of a premier retail portfolio, with exposure to high-profile retail and luxury brands across local and international markets. There will be leadership responsibility with the ability to influence asset performance and tenant mix decisions.

Key Responsibilities

- Support the development and execution of leasing strategies, including trade mix planning and tenant optimisation initiatives to maximise asset value.

- Drive leasing plans and initiatives in alignment with asset objectives and market positioning.

- Lead, mentor, and coach the leasing team to achieve leasing targets and operational excellence.

- Lead lease negotiations for new and renewal tenancies with tenants, agents, consultants, and business partners.

- Manage tenancy-related matters, ensuring timely resolution of issues and escalations.

- Develop and implement tenant engagement and retention strategies to attract and retain quality tenants.

- Oversee the full leasing lifecycle, including enquiries, prospecting, tenant viewings, negotiations, and deal closure.

- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of prospective tenants, including new-to-market and international brands.

- Monitor leasing performance, occupancy levels, and vacancy management to optimise rental income.

Key Requirements

- Valid RES licence or equivalent professional qualification.

- Proven experience in retail leasing, with a strong track record of successful lease negotiations and deal closures.

- Experience within luxury retail leasing is highly advantageous.

- Strong understanding of retail market dynamics, tenant mix planning, and asset value enhancement strategies.

- Demonstrated leadership experience with the ability to manage, mentor, and -develop a team.

- Excellent negotiation, stakeholder management, and relationship-building skills.

- Commercially astute, proactive, and resourceful with strong problem-solving abilities.

- Strong analytical, reporting, and presentation skills.

- Ability to work effectively across multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
