Role Description
The Department of East Asian Studies specializes in Area studies concerning Japan, Korea and China. We welcome cross disciplinary social science background with expertise in said area.
This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Lecturer, Associate Professor, or Professor at Universiti Malaya, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The responsibilities include teaching and mentoring undergraduate and postgraduate students, conducting innovative research, publishing in reputable academic journals, and contributing to the development of academic programs within the university. The role also involves participating in departmental, faculty, and university administrative duties as well as engaging with the local and global academic community.
