Responsible for ensuring that the Company complies with all applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies. You will play a key role in identifying and mitigating compliance risks, ensuring that the company operates with integrity.
Responsibilities
- Regulatory Compliance: Monitor and ensure adherence to relevant local laws and regulations.
- Policy Development and Enforcement: Assist in developing, updating, and implementing compliance policies and procedures.
- Reporting and Documentation: Conduct regular compliance assessments within the Company, maintain thorough records of compliance activities and prepare reports for senior management and regulatory authorities.
- Training and Awareness: Deliver training programs for employees to ensure awareness of compliance obligations. Keep employees updated on any changes in regulations or internal policies.
- Monitoring and Reviews: Continuously monitor regulatory developments and update Company practices accordingly. Perform regular reviews of business practices to ensure ongoing compliance.
- Regulatory Liaison: Act as a liaison between the Company and regulatory bodies if necessary.
- Advisory Role: Provide compliance-related advice and support to various departments to ensure alignment with regulatory requirement.
Requirements
- Candidate must possess at least a Degree in Law
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a legal and compliance role, preferably within the FMCG industry.
- Strong knowledge of relevant laws and regulations
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Positive attitude and able to work independently with minimum supervision
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia (written and spoken)
