About The Job
This role supports a regional legal services group by providing legal support from Malaysia, focusing on contract review, drafting, and negotiation with local and international suppliers and partners. It also involves legal support and collaborations with teams based in various jurisdictional areas, including within technology, networks, and commercial legal matters.
- Draft, review, and negotiate a range of commercial contracts with a focus on technology, commercial and procurement legal contracts.
- Advise on legal and commercial risks, offering practical, business-aligned solutions.
- Collaborate with business units to ensure compliance with group policies.
- Maintain clear documentation and support knowledge retention through established processes.
About The Requirements
- Recognised Law degree with admission to the Malaysian BAR or equivalent.
- At least 6 years of post-qualification experience, either in-house or with a reputable commercial law firm.
- Excellent contract drafting skills.
- Strong analytical skills and solid understanding of corporate, commercial and contract law.
- Comfortable working independently and under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Team-oriented, with the ability to collaborate effectively while upholding company policies and legal standards.
