We are seeking an experienced Senior Linux Administrator to maintain the reliability, security, and performance of Linux servers and associated infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain Linux servers (Red Hat, CentOS).
- Perform regular system updates, patch management, and security hardening.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and file systems.
- Implement and manage monitoring tools (e.g., Nagios, Prometheus, Grafana) to ensure system health.
- Respond to alerts promptly, troubleshoot issues, and implement corrective actions.
- Experience with hypervisors like RHEV Hypervisor and VMware.
- Create and manage virtual machines (VMs) and maintain virtualized environments.
- Identify and resolve system and application-related issues.
- Perform root cause analysis and implement preventive measures.
Requirements
Must-have:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Proven experience as a Linux System Administrator or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of Linux operating systems and shell scripting.
- Familiarity with virtualization and hypervisors (RHEV Hypervisor, VMware).
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Nice-to-have:
- DevOps experience and skills in automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Jenkins) is preferred.
