Job Description
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
- To establish a controlled fiber cable assembly process and document in the system.
- Equipment Control and Preventive Maintenance.
- Generate and implement VA's to guide production properly execute termination process and meet product specification.
- Failure analysis of 100Gig/VOA test fall outs from line and fiber cable defects. Do whatever it takes to meet or exceed our customers expectation in compliance with the Quality Policy.
- Responsible for qualification of assembly process and parts for new product requirements.
- Ensure all equipment operating at optimal level and minimize equipment down time.
- Responsible for periodic preventive maintenance schedule for all equipment.
- Improve assembly process ergonomic and efficiency thru simplification of process flow.
- Manage spare parts inventory and replenish as needed.
- Verification of fallouts in the line (in-process fallouts and incoming rejects) for 100Gig, 40Gig & MEMs parts. Responsible to develop systematic debugging guide to equipment or tester breakdown. Generate VA's and conduct briefing to production operators including support group for non-conformances and new process introduction.
- Evaluate fall outs from production (incoming/WIP), root cause failure analysis and feedback to production. Implement corrective action. Coordinate with OEM critical and vague equipment/machine breakdown and software updates.
- Consolidate RTV parts from 100Gig in-process rejects back to WUXI counterpart for IR Buy back.
- Creates new Part Numbers for NPI patch cord required by end user and release to system.
- Responsible to conduct gage repeatability & reliability study to test equipment (i.e. interferometer machine).
- Work with product engineer to develop test solution to enhance test coverage and testability.
- Authorized to stop any machine if the machine does not fulfill production requirement.
- Performing any other duties as directed by the immediate superior from time to time.
- Derive Continual Improvement. Practice Risk Base Thinking in planning and execution of task. Compliance to ISO Requirements, company rules & regulations, applicable codes etc.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor or Master in Engineering preferably majoring in Electronics, Mechanical or Mechatronics
- Minimum 1 year of experience in related industry and in mass production environment. Experience working in a fiber optic transceiver manufacturing environment will be an added advantage. Fresh graduate are welcome to apply.
- Good computer literacy especially in SPC related applications.
- Must exhibit a strong sense of data analytical skills with hands on working attitude.
- Adaptable and flexible to rapid changes to the business needs of the company
