Job Description & Summary
At PwC, our people in audit and assurance focus on providing independent and objective assessments of financial statements, internal controls, and other assurable information enhancing the credibility and reliability of this information with a variety of stakeholders. They evaluate compliance with regulations including assessing governance and risk management processes and related controls.

In financial statement audit at PwC, you will focus on obtaining reasonable assurance about whether the financial statements as a whole are free from material misstatement, whether due to fraud or error, and to issue an auditor's report that includes the auditor's opinion.

Responsibilities


As a Senior Manager,you'llwork as part of a team of problem solvers with extensive consulting and industry experience, helping our clients solve their complex business issues from strategy to execution. Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Proactivelyassistin the management of a portfolio of clients, while reporting to Director and above
  

• Be involved in thefinancial managementof clients
  

• Be actively involved in business development activities to helpidentifyand research opportunities on new/existing clients
  

• Contribute to the development of your own and team's technical acumen
  

• Develop strategies to solve complex technical challenges
  

• Assistin the management and delivering of large projects
  

• Train, coach, and supervise staff
  

• Keep up to date with local and national business and economic issues
  

• Continue to develop internal relationships and your PwC brand
  
  

• Degree in any discipline
  

• ACA/CA/CPA qualified or equivalent
  

• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in statutory and regulatory audits, with 3-4 years of supervisory role
  

• IFRS and knowledge is preferable
  

• Strong interpersonal,writtenand verbal communication skills
  

• Possess good leadership skills anddemonstrateresilience
  

• Demonstrate ability to build meaningful relationships
  

• Possess good business acumen
