Manage and oversee the commercial and corporate development of the Group's infrastructure projects, including amongst others, develop financial proposal, contracts negotiations, corporate structuring and cash flow controlling.
Monitor and ensure timely month end financial close to provide management with an accurate and timely financial reporting for company performance measurement.
Ensure timely and accurate completing and compliance of all required quarterly reporting to ensure good corporate governance.
Preparation and submission of quarterly BOD/AC papers and annual audited financial statements
Close liaison with bankers, auditors, tax agents, company secretary, as well as other relevant authorities.
Ensuring compliance to accounting standards, statutory and other external requirements.
Supervise the group finance and subsidiary team on daily financial matters and provide problem solving for issues encounter and ensure a high standard of their work quality.
To develop and monitor key performance indicators to support business analysis, cost, margin and profitability analyses.
Review monthly budgets against actual cost spent and highlight deviations to management for corrective actions.
Review and update all policies and procedures for the department.
To undertake any other projects as assigned by superiors from time to time.
Manage and maintaining Finance SOPs
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
Professional certifications (e.g. ACCA, CPA, ICAEW, CIMA, MICPA) are highly preferred.
MIA membership is an added advantage.
Minimum 5 years of working experience in corporate finance, financial reporting, and financial management.
At least 3 years in a managerial or senior finance role.
Strong knowledge of Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards (MFRS), tax laws, and financial regulations.
Hands-on experience in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and stakeholder reporting.
Commercially minded, with the ability to lead contract and financial negotiations.
Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Analytical, detail-oriented, and results-driven with strong problem-solving skills.
Willing to be based inSelangorand travel when required.
