Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee the commercial and corporate development of the Group's infrastructure projects, including amongst others, develop financial proposal, contracts negotiations, corporate structuring and cash flow controlling.
  • Monitor and ensure timely month end financial close to provide management with an accurate and timely financial reporting for company performance measurement.
  • Ensure timely and accurate completing and compliance of all required quarterly reporting to ensure good corporate governance.
  • Preparation and submission of quarterly BOD/AC papers and annual audited financial statements
  • Close liaison with bankers, auditors, tax agents, company secretary, as well as other relevant authorities.
  • Ensuring compliance to accounting standards, statutory and other external requirements.
  • Supervise the group finance and subsidiary team on daily financial matters and provide problem solving for issues encounter and ensure a high standard of their work quality.
  • To develop and monitor key performance indicators to support business analysis, cost, margin and profitability analyses.
  • Review monthly budgets against actual cost spent and highlight deviations to management for corrective actions.
  • Review and update all policies and procedures for the department.
  • To undertake any other projects as assigned by superiors from time to time.
  • Manage and maintaining Finance SOPs

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  • Professional certifications (e.g. ACCA, CPA, ICAEW, CIMA, MICPA) are highly preferred.
  • MIA membership is an added advantage.
  • Minimum 5 years of working experience in corporate finance, financial reporting, and financial management.
  • At least 3 years in a managerial or senior finance role.
  • Strong knowledge of Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards (MFRS), tax laws, and financial regulations.
  • Hands-on experience in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and stakeholder reporting.
  • Commercially minded, with the ability to lead contract and financial negotiations.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Analytical, detail-oriented, and results-driven with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Willing to be based inSelangorand travel when required.
