You will be joining a global bank with operations in various businesses including corporate and investment banking, wealth management, and treasury services. Their office is located in Kuala Lumpur.
Your new role
- Strategy: Build relationships with senior technology leaders, support audit planning, risk assessments, and team training. Provide leadership and maintain independence.
- Audit Delivery: Manage end-to-end audit execution, validate issues, ensure timely resolution, and drive innovation using AI and data analytics.
- Business Engagement: Collaborate with Technology BUs, monitor transformation programs, and share insights on emerging risks and technologies.
- Processes: Ensure audits meet quality standards, escalate unresolved issues, and promote efficiency.
- People & Talent: Mentor and train team members, support career development, and build a high-performing audit function.
- Risk Management: Conduct risk assessments, monitor emerging risks, and ensure compliance with regulatory changes.
- Governance: Maintain strong stakeholder relationships, communicate findings clearly, and escalate overdue actions.
- Stakeholders: Engage with senior technology leaders and Internal Audit team members
What You'll Need To Succeed
- Minimum of 13 years in the cybersecurity field (IT Security, Network security or any SecOps role)
- Has experience in IT Audit or open to pivot in IT Audit
- Strong understanding of the IT Infrastructure domain (i.e. servers, networks, databases, and cloud services)
- Familiar with international standards - ISO27K1, SOX and /or BNM RMIT
- Obtained industry recognised professional certifications such as CISA, CISM, CRISC, CISSP and/or equivalent
