Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Senior Engineering Program Manager to lead operational excellence within our Semiconductor Capital Equipment division. In this strategic role, you will be responsible for driving productivity, refining manufacturing processes, and boosting efficiency in a high-velocity technical environment. You will act as a key collaborator across departments to streamline production flows, minimize cycle times, and deliver cost-efficient manufacturing solutions.
Core Responsibilities
- Process & Strategy: Spearhead optimization initiatives to increase production capacity while reducing operational costs.
- Methodology Leadership: Deploy Lean manufacturing frameworks, Six Sigma principles, and advanced automation solutions.
- Workflow Optimization: Evaluate production streams to eliminate bottlenecks; design improved factory layouts and logistics systems.
- Cross-Functional Integration: Partner with Engineering, Supply Chain, and Operations to ensure the smooth rollout of new equipment and process updates.
- Continuous Improvement: Manage high-impact projects focused on yield enhancement, defect reduction, and throughput gains.
- Data-Driven Insight: Use statistical modeling, simulation tools, and data analytics to inform strategic decision-making.
- NPI Support: Oversee the manufacturing ramp-up and scalability of New Product Introductions (NPI).
- Performance Tracking: Monitor and improve KPIs related to quality, cost, and delivery timelines.
- Value Engineering: Execute VAVE (Value Analysis/Value Engineering) strategies and DFM (Design for Manufacturability) to hit cost-reduction targets.
- Vendor Relations: Work with suppliers to improve the reliability and manufacturability of critical components.
- Compliance: Maintain strict adherence to industry regulations, safety protocols, and corporate policies.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Industrial, Manufacturing, or Mechanical Engineering (or a related technical discipline).
- Experience: 10+ years of Industrial Engineering experience specifically within the semiconductor capital equipment or high-tech manufacturing sectors.
- Technical Expertise: Deep knowledge of Lean and Six Sigma (Green or Black Belt certifications preferred).
- Proven track record in factory layout design and capacity planning.
- Familiarity with Industry 4.0, robotics, and manufacturing automation.
- Software Skills: Proficiency in data tools (Power BI, SQL, Python, Minitab, Excel) and IE-specific software.
- Leadership: Exceptional project management, analytical problem-solving, and cross-functional leadership skills.
- Domain Knowledge: Understanding of cleanroom environments and semiconductor manufacturing processes is highly valued.
Preferred Qualifications
- Direct experience with top-tier semiconductor capital equipment manufacturers.
- Technical proficiency with ERP, PLM, and MES.
