Your Role

Key responsibilities in your new role

  • Leading EFA FAR team in Kulim focusing on customer return, RnD and Qualification towards Infineon's Asia FAR hub in Kulim. Managing FAR team in FA KLM incl. resource, HC, invest, optimization of resources and deliveries, e.g. schedule, budget, quality, cycle time, KPI and analysis concepts. Leading managers as well as Technical Ladder engineers, engineers, technicians and operators.
  • Interface to and communication with all relevant internal partners from Operations, QM and Divisions. Budget and HC responsibility for FA KLM budget related to FAR.
  • Providing state of the art Failure Analysis services (performance, cost, quality) to the respective Product Lines/ Business Divisions and other related customer.
  • Technical advisor/coach/facilitator to the team. Effectively use situational leadership skill to manage tasks based on complexity levels and experience of task owners. Establish conducive environment for people development and growth.
  • High degree of analytical skills. High level of complexity to manage. Information gathering requires own research and team support.
  • Exchange of complex technical info's, ability to lead team and communicate results to technical community but Top Management as well. Able to apply a variety of interpersonal skills to effectively direct /persuade / influence others. Manage and co-ordinate multiple interfaces.

Your Profile

Qualifications And Skills To Help You Succeed

  • Electrical engineering, Physics, Chemistry, Microsystems or similar. 5+years experience in the semiconductor industry.
  • Fluent English. 3+ years people management experience as team/department leader.
  • Broad understanding of processes in R&D, manufacturing and qualification process.
  • Good understanding of Failure Analysis methodology, processes and respective tools.
  • Good technical background for products and technologies.
  • Sound knowledge of crisis management and problem solving methods for supporting business with premium analytical service in case of urgent business needs.
  • Solid knowledge in internal and external audit management and respective standards and norms (ISO, IATF, etc.).
  • Solid knowledge of related IT and FI environment.
  • Good knowledge of world-wide trends of Failure Analysis methods and tools and respective equipment vendors.
  • Understanding of customer expectations also in critical situations and ability to judge requested measures based on industry/competition comparison.
  • Strong networking and good collaboration within FA global organization considering diverse cultural backgrounds.
