Key Responsibilities
Manage the day-to-day operations of the finance department, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and month-end closing.
Oversee the accuracy and timeliness of all financial records and reporting
Partner with leadership to develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and internal controls
Identify and lead key finance projects to improve efficiency and effectiveness
Establish and maintain strong relationships with banks to secure optimal financing services
Manage and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development
Explore and implement technological solutions to streamline financial processes
Job Requirements
Seasoned Finance professional with experience in finance operations and accounting. Proven experience in general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and month-end closing processes is essential.
Proactive, positive and mature team player with strong interpersonal skills who can communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
Possess excellent organisation skills, able to work flexibly to lead projects and demonstrate critical thinking to solve problems, as well as a willingness to roll up one's sleeves
Good knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations
Desire and ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Experience in F&B or retail industry would be advantageous
Proven team management skills with the ability to lead, motivate, and support a team of at least 7-8 members
