Assist the head of department in designing and developing a cross-company, cross-functional sustainability roadmap strategy
Collaborate with functions and business to integrate sustainability initiatives into core business operations, monitor the progress as well as be a champion for the delivery of these initiatives
Lead the collation, ensuring accuracy and monitoring of sustainability performance eg Scope 1, 2 and 3 emission for the various business units and functions in the groups and reporting to the management and board on progress against targets
Key support in the assurance process for sustainability and ESG disclosures, including preparing documentation, engaging with internal/external assurance providers, and ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and compliance with reporting standards.
Key contributor in the development of annual sustainability reporting, the necessary disclosures and ensuring adherence to the relevant reporting requirements and framework
Work alongside risk management and businesses to identify and assess ESG-related risks and opportunities as well as to develop mitigation strategies for sustainability-related risks.
Preparation of sustainability framework and relevant business policies to enhance sustainability practices within the organisation
Monitor sustainability trends and advise the leadership team on emerging issues, risks, and opportunities.
Undertake all ad-hoc projects, assignments or any other duties as and when requested by the Management.
Job Requirements :
Minimum 8 years work experience with knowledge and prior experience and/ or exposure in sustainability
Experience working in a PLC will be an added advantage
Familiarity with sustainability reporting and the relevant reporting requirements
Possess a strong interest and commitment in the field of sustainability.
Proven track record in developing and executing sustainability programs in a corporate setting
Self-starter who takes ownership of tasks and is a team player committed to achieving common goals.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
