A fastgrowing global energy organisation is expanding its presence across Asia and is seeking an experienced Senior HR Manager to lead HR operations for both Malaysia and the wider region. This role plays a key part in shaping the people agenda as the company scales rapidly across multiple highgrowth energy projects.
As a senior member of the regional team, you will drive HR strategy, lead operational excellence, build talent pipelines, and foster a peoplecentric culture across diverse technical and corporate teams.
Your new role
HR Strategy & Business Partnering
- Partner closely with regional and local leadership to align HR initiatives with business priorities.
- Provide strategic HR advisory on organisational development, workforce planning, and performance management.
- Support the growth of Asia operations in line with expanding project demands.
Talent Acquisition & Workforce Development
- Lead end-to-end recruitment for regional technical, engineering, and corporate roles.
- Build strong talent pipelines in niche energy and technical disciplines.
- Oversee onboarding, ensuring a seamless and consistent employee experience.
HR Operations & Compliance
- Manage HR administration, contracts, documentation, and HRIS updates.
- Ensure robust compliance with Malaysian employment legislation and alignment with global HR standards.
- Lead HR policy implementation, updates, and harmonisation across the region.
Employee Relations & Culture
- Serve as a trusted point of contact for employee relations matters, ensuring fairness and alignment with organisational values.
- Drive initiatives that strengthen employee engagement, wellbeing, and team culture.
- Collaborate with global HR counterparts to roll out people programs across multiple offices.

Experience Profile
- Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or related field.
- 10-15 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 5 years in a senior HR generalist or HRBP capacity.
- Strong knowledge of Malaysian labour laws; APAC exposure is a strong advantage.
- Ideally experienced in technical, engineering, energy, or project-driven environments.
