About the Role

Manage a team of application supports to handle user requirements on investment trading platforms, and related applications, to deliver solutions in time, on budget and compliance to AIA policies.

• Manage expectations of and collect requirements from stakeholders (15%)
• Own and manage service level to meet agreed thresholds and budget (10%)
• Drive and coordinate with subject matter experts / service providers to analyse user requirements, propose solutions and budget (30%)
• Learn new application functionalities, assess compliance with AIA IT policies, design workflows and draft standard operation manual accordingly (25%)
• Response to queries from internal / external auditors and regulators on application controls (10%)
• Lead, manage, coach and develop team members on application knowledge and business domains (10%)

Communication Requirements:

Internal: (50%)

• Business users and technical teams in AIA entities across AsiaPac

External: (50%)

• Blackrock, Bank of New York, Eagle, Cassini, Virtu & other service providers around the Globe

Minimum Job Requirements:

• University graduate in computer science or other relevant discipline
• 5-year experience in leading a support team on investment trading platform is a must.
• Working experience in Blackrock Aladdin / eFront, BNY Oncore / Nexen / DataVault, Cassini Workbench, Virtu TCA, Bloomberg is desirable
• Knowledge in Service Now is a plus

Technical skills

• Understand investment workflow and terminology
• Conversant with SDLC methodology and COBIT framework
• Microsoft Office & Visio

Certifications/licenses

• ITIL, CISA, or equivalent

• Team player with leadership essentials
