What you'll do:

As Senior Manager, Investment in Putrajaya, you will be entrusted with leading the identification and execution of high-impact investments across multiple sectors. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve sourcing promising deals in venture capital and private equity spaces; conducting detailed market research; building sophisticated financial models; leading rigorous due diligence efforts; collaborating with both internal teams and external partners; driving value creation strategies for portfolio companies; providing actionable insights on industry trends; ensuring alignment with corporate strategy; executing transactions; monitoring portfolio performance; facilitating effective communication among stakeholders; and supporting the professional development of your direct reports. * Lead thorough due diligence processes covering financial, legal, operational, and commercial aspects of prospective investments to ensure sound decision-making.
* Drive value creation initiatives by partnering closely with portfolio management teams to support operational improvements, strategic growth plans, and successful exits.
* Build and nurture strong networks with external financial institutions including venture capital firms, private equity houses, investment banks, advisors, and related companies.
* Ensure all investment activities are fully aligned with their corporate strategy as well as its long-term business goals focused on sustainability and innovation.
* Provide expert insights on emerging industry trends and recommend strategic areas of focus for future investments based on data-driven analysis.
* Execute investments efficiently while overseeing the ongoing performance of portfolio companies across various business units within .

What you bring:

To excel as Senior Manager, Investment at you will bring extensive hands-on experience from roles involving private equity transactions or venture capital investments-ideally supported by exposure to M&A or corporate development projects. Your background should include significant involvement in deal origination through execution stages: from initial market research through financial analysis right up until post-investment value creation. You will possess outstanding interpersonal skills enabling you to collaborate seamlessly across departments while nurturing external partnerships vital for success. A deep appreciation for sustainability issues-as well as familiarity with agribusiness or manufacturing and production sectors-will further enhance your suitability for this position. Above all else your approach will be defined by empathy reliability integrity adaptability-and an unwavering commitment towards achieving shared goals within a supportive team environment.

* Minimum 8 years proven experience in investments-ideally within private equity, venture capital, M&A investment banking or corporate development environments-with a track record of successful deal sourcing and execution.
* Demonstrated ability to conduct intelligent market research coupled with advanced skills in financial modelling for complex investment scenarios.
* Strong negotiation skills complemented by excellent communication abilities that foster trustful relationships with both internal colleagues and external partners.
* Experience leading comprehensive due diligence processes across financial, legal, operational domains-ensuring all risks are identified and mitigated prior to investment decisions.
* Proven capability in driving value creation initiatives post-investment through close collaboration with portfolio management teams focused on operational improvement and strategic growth.
* Deep understanding of stakeholder management principles-enabling you to build consensus among diverse groups while maintaining alignment with organisational objectives.
* Exposure or prior experience in sectors relevant to such as agribusiness, renewables, sustainability or manufacturing and production would be highly advantageous but not essential.
* Ability to work dependably both independently and as part of cross-functional teams-demonstrating flexibility when adapting to changing priorities or new information.
