Job Summary:
The Senior Manager, Investor Relations is responsible for developing and executing the investor relations strategy to enhance shareholder value and maintain a strong relationship with investors, analysts, media, and other stakeholders. This role will manage all aspects of investor communications and disclosures, oversee integrated reporting, and drive engagement through multiple channels, including digital platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategy & Relationship Management
- Develop and implement the overall investor relations strategy.
- Build and maintain relationships with analysts, investors, media, regulators, and other key stakeholders.
- Manage analyst coverage and respond to investor-related enquiries.
Communication & Reporting
- Prepare and update investor communications, including the corporate presentation deck.
- Coordinate and prepare materials for quarterly earnings announcements, media releases, and analyst briefings.
- Produce the Integrated Report and support the compilation of credit rating and business plan materials.
IR Programme Coordination:
Monthly
- Prepare monthly investor relations reports.
- Update corporate presentation materials.
Quarterly
- Prepare quarterly earnings presentation and market outlook.
- Draft and issue media releases.
- Coordinate quarterly results meetings and post-results analysis.
- Conduct registrar of depositor's analysis.
Annually
- Lead the production of the Integrated Report.
- Assist in preparation for the Annual General Meeting (AGM).
- Support business planning and credit rating submissions.
Digital & Media Engagement
- Manage the investor relations section of the corporate website.
- Oversee IR-related social media content and strategy.
- Draft media write-ups and coordinate public-facing announcements.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
- MBA or professional qualifications (e.g., CFA, CPA, ACCA) are a plus.
- Min 8 - 12 years of experience in investor relations, corporate finance, equity research, investment banking, or capital markets.
- Experience with a publicly listed company and knowledge of Bursa Malaysia/Securities Commission regulations will be an added advantage.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong financial analysis abilities, a deep understanding of financial markets, and the ability to translate complex financial information into clear, concise messaging are essential.
