What You'll Do

The Marketing Operations Senior Manager (MOSM) is responsible for leading the Integrated Activity Planning (IAP) process and ensuring seamless translation of commercial and marketing strategies into operational execution across the market. The role serves as the key integrator across Commercial, Marketing, Procurement, Finance, and Field teams to ensure initiatives are prioritized, operationalized, executed efficiently, and continuously improved through structured feedback and governance processes. The MOSM is also responsible for overseeing market planning, resource allocation, marketing operations enablement, process optimization, and winning at point-of-sale execution to drive commercial effectiveness and execution excellence across the organization.

Integrated Activity Planning (IAP) & Governance Management:

  • Work closely with Commercial, Marketing, Sales, Finance, Supply Chain, and other cross-functional teams to align commercial and marketing initiatives with overall business objectives and ensure coordination across functions.

Lead the end-to-end Integrated Activity Planning (IAP) process including:

  • initiative gating and prioritization
  • capacity planning
  • alignment management
  • execution tracking
  • issue resolution
  • performance management
  • post-mortem governance
  • continuous improvement routines

  • Ensure structured field feedback mechanisms are implemented for major initiatives and translate learnings into actionable improvements for future programs.

Market Planning Management – Strategy & Business Performance

  • Assess the effectiveness of commercial and marketing programs through qualitative and quantitative analysis, while monitoring market trends, customer insights, competitive activities, and execution realities that impact customers and consumers.
  • Translate internal and external data into actionable recommendations that improve business performance, execution effectiveness, resource allocation, and overall market competitiveness.
  • Support the development of strategic roadmaps and integrated commercial plans aligned with business priorities and growth objectives.

Commercial & Marketing Operations Enablement

  • Lead the operationalization of commercial and marketing initiatives by coordinating cross-functional requirements across Marketing, Commercial, Procurement, Systems, and Execution teams to ensure timely and seamless deployment into market.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • POSM deployment coordination
  • material and SKU activation
  • systems and workflow management

  • Act as the key operational bridge between strategy development and market execution

Resource Planning & Vendor Management

  • Oversee management of marketing-related budgets and resources including DME, DFR, OPEX, and CAPEX allocations to ensure efficient utilization and maximization of return on investment.
  • Lead vendor selection, assessment, governance, and performance management processes through clear KPIs, service standards, and regular business reviews to ensure operational excellence and cost effectiveness.
  • Drive budget tracking, usage visibility, and financial governance across initiatives and stakeholders.

Winning at Point of Sales Champion -- Campaign Planning and Execution

  • Ensure development and deployment of winning point-of-sale materials and execution standards that enhance brand visibility and drive commercial performance across different retail environments.
  • Collaborate closely with Marketing, Commercial, Design, Procurement, and agency partners to ensure alignment, consistency, operational feasibility, and speed-to-market of in-store execution materials and campaigns.
  • Lead governance of PICOS standards and executional excellence across channels.

Process Optimization and Systems Excellence

  • Drive continuous improvement of marketing operations processes, workflows, tools, and ways of working to improve efficiency, visibility, speed, governance, and execution quality.
  • Lead adoption and optimization of commercial and marketing systems, tools, and operational workflows to improve decision-making, execution tracking, and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Ensure governance standards, documentation discipline, approval workflows, and process compliance are consistently implemented across all initiatives.

Team Leadership and Capability Development

  • Drive capability development and organizational health within the Marketing Operations team through competency building, coaching, succession planning, and individual development planning.
  • Provide training and support to stakeholders on marketing operations tools, processes, governance routines, and best practices to enhance organizational effectiveness and execution consistency.
  • Lead a high-performing, collaborative, and continuously improving team culture.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business Administration or any related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of working experience with 5 years and above managing a team.
  • Preferably with FMCG industry.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Solid understanding of commercial operations, market dynamics, execution realities, budgeting, resource allocation, vendor management and ROI optimization.
