Job Description

Nexperia is a world-class company in semiconductor development and in-house production. A proven global player with an entrepreneurial mentality. At our core is an 13,000+ strong international network with a singular focus. Built on passion and commitment to our work, belief in our goals and a drive to succeed regardless of the challenges we face. We support, reward and challenge individuals equally, in a dynamic and energetic environment.

What You Will Do

Process Ownership & Technical Governance

  • Design & Standardize: Develop and refine the Transfer Playbook, including SOPs and governance frameworks for moving processes from R&D to Production or between manufacturing sites.
  • Knowledge Transfer: Ensure the seamless migration of technical specifications, Work Instructions (WIs), and Bill of Materials (BOM) accuracy.
  • Compliance: Ensure all transfer activities adhere to ISO, GMP, or industry-specific safety and quality standards.

Strategic Planning & Execution

  • Roadmapping: Translate business expansion goals into detailed transfer plans (Site Acceptance Tests (SAT), Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT), and Validation).
  • Resource Mapping: Manage the sequencing of equipment moves, material buffers, and labor requirements to prevent production downtime.
  • Milestone Management: Lead the transition through all phases: Initiation, Equipment/Process Qualification (IQ/OQ/PQ), and Mass Production Handover.

Cross-Functional Orchestration

  • The Bridge: Serve as the lead liaison between Product Development, Quality Assurance, Supply Chain, and the Shop Floor.
  • Stakeholder Alignment: Facilitate critical Go/No-Go meetings for production starts and align leadership on risk profiles.
  • Vendor Management: Coordinate with external equipment manufacturers and contractors to ensure machinery is installed and calibrated to spec.

Performance Tracking & Data Insights

  • Metric Definition: Monitor KPIs specific to transfers, such as First Pass Yield (FPY) post-transfer, ramp-up time, and OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness).
  • Dashboards: Maintain real-time visibility on transfer progress and budget utilization.
  • Post-Mortem Analysis: Use data from pilot runs to refine full-scale production parameters.

Technical Risk & Mitigation

  • Proactive Guarding: Identify technical bottlenecks (e.g., tooling lead times, facility utility gaps) before they impact the critical path.
  • Contingency Planning: Develop Plan B scenarios for supply chain disruptions or failed validation runs to maintain customer supply.

Quality Assurance & Validation

  • Validation Oversight: Ensure the transferred process meets defined Capability Indices ($Cpk$ and $Ppk$).
  • Root Cause Analysis: Lead technical investigations if post-transfer output fails to meet the Golden Sample or legacy site standards.

Team Enablement & Change Management

  • Training: Bridge the skill gap by coordinating training for local operators and technicians on newly transferred technologies.
  • Empowerment: Foster a culture of ownership at the receiving site to ensure long-term process stability.

Systems & Automation

  • Tool Optimization: Leverage PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) and ERP systems to ensure data integrity during the transfer.
  • Digital Transformation: Identify opportunities to automate manual data collection during the validation phase.

What You Will Need

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or Manufacturing), Supply Chain Management, or a related technical field.
  • Experience: 5–8+ years of experience in Manufacturing Engineering or Operations Project Management, with a proven track record of managing end-to-end process transfers or new product introductions (NPI).
  • Validation Standards: Deep understanding of IQ/OQ/PQ (Installation, Operational, and Performance Qualification) protocols and Process Validation frameworks.
  • Lean Manufacturing: Practical application of Lean principles (Value Stream Mapping, Kaizen, 5S) to optimize the layout and flow of the receiving site.
  • Stakeholder Influence: Ability to manage donor and recipient site expectations, often navigating different site cultures or time zones.
  • Analytical Problem-Solving: A data-driven mindset capable of translating complex technical bottlenecks into actionable business decisions.
  • Communication: Exceptional verbal and written skills for presenting status updates to executive leadership and technical briefs to shop-floor teams.
