About The Role
We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Manager to join our Retail Marketing Services team at RHB Banking Group. In this role, you will provide comprehensive marketing and administrative support to the Retail Distribution team, ensuring seamless execution of due diligence, marketing initiatives, regulatory compliance, and business support activities. You will collaborate closely with internal departments, external partners, and key stakeholders to support the growth and integrity of our retail distribution business.
What You Will Be Doing
- Provide marketing and administrative support to the Retail Distribution team to ensure smooth day-to-day operations
- Work closely with internal departments and external parties to prepare and coordinate due diligence activities, including review of new funds and annual due diligence assessments conducted on RHB Asset Management and RHB Islamic International Asset Management for Retail Distribution Partners
- Conduct annual due diligence and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) / Countering the Financing of Terrorism (CFT) questionnaires on all Retail Distribution Partners to ensure compliance with the latest Malaysian regulatory requirements
- Ensure up-to-date data and information are obtained for due diligence activities in line with regulatory guidelines, internal policies, and industry best practices
- Collaborate with Group Marketing to produce fund marketing materials and ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines, internal policies, and best practices
- Oversee the timely development, production, and distribution of fund marketing materials, periodic updates, presentation decks, and reports
- Prepare and maintain periodic reports including Manco papers, league tables, AUM reports, commission reports, campaign reports, marketing funding reports, and related documentation
- Consolidate and manage Distribution Agreements and Supplementary Distribution Agreements, ensuring accuracy and compliance
- Prepare in-depth fund performance reports, including competitor analysis, third-party performance data (e.g., Lipper), peer income distribution statistics, and annual/interim fund performance reviews
- Support internal and external audit reviews, compliance reviews, and risk management assessments
- Manage marketing payment processes, track invoice status, and ensure timely processing
- Ensure effective communication of marketing and business support materials to internal teams and external stakeholders
- Plan and execute marketing activities and events in collaboration with internal and external parties
- Coordinate product trainings, briefings, events, and regional meetings to support business objectives
- Undertake ad-hoc responsibilities as assigned by Management
What We're Looking For
- Strong experience in retail distribution support, asset management, banking, or related financial services industry
- Solid understanding of regulatory requirements, compliance standards, and AML/CFT obligations in Malaysia
- Strong analytical skills with experience in fund performance reporting and competitor analysis
- Good planning, coordination, and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy and compliance
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
