Job Purpose
Accountable for the strategic leadership, revenue growth, and commercial performance of PRIDE's non-fare revenue portfolio, encompassing retail and commercial leasing, events and activation, parking services, telecommunications and digital infrastructure, merchandise, and new business initiatives.
Key Accountabilities
- Provide strategic oversight of retail and commercial leasing to ensure optimal tenant mix, high occupancy rates, and commercially sustainable lease structures across stations and transport assets.
- Lead the development of events and activation programmes that enhance station vibrancy, passenger engagement, and incremental revenue while maintaining operational and safety standards.
- Oversee parking and park-and-ride services, including pricing strategy, demand management, digital payment systems, and third-party operator arrangements.
- Lead the technology business portfolio, including telecommunications, fibre, tower, DAS, data infrastructure, and emerging digital services, ensuring commercial viability and regulatory compliance.
- Guide the development, branding, distribution, and commercialisation of PRIDE merchandise to strengthen brand equity and ancillary income.
- Build, manage, and strengthen strategic relationships with key customers, tenants, telcos, financial institutions, technology partners, event organisers, and other commercial stakeholders.
- Lead high-value negotiations with partners and customers to secure favourable commercial terms, long-term agreements, and risk-balanced contractual structures.
- Represent PRIDE in strategic discussions with government agencies, regulators, investors, and industry players related to commercial and technology initiatives.
- Develop and manage annual budgets and medium-term financial plans for all portfolios, ensuring disciplined cost control and effective allocation of resources.
- Ensure all commercial activities comply with applicable laws, regulations, government policies, and internal governance frameworks.
- Work closely with Finance, Legal, Operations, and Risk teams to manage commercial risk, contractual exposure, and financial sustainability.
- Collaborate closely with Operations, Engineering, Property, Digital, Finance, Legal, and Corporate Strategy teams to ensure successful implementation of commercial initiatives without compromising service reliability or passenger safety.
Qualifications, Skills & Knowledge
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, Engineering, or an equivalent.
- A minimum of 15 years of experience in commercial business development or a related field.
- Proven experience in sales and marketing, with a track record of success in driving revenue growth and improving customer satisfaction.
- Strong business acumen, with the ability to think and act both strategically and tactically.
- Understand marketing automation software to streamline sales and marketing processes, such as lead generation and lead nurturing.
