Job Description

JOB PURPOSE

  • Lead, direct, manage and monitor staff deliverables and overall projects (system), system capability and performance including vendor management.
  • Lead, direct, manage and monitor staff deliverables and overall Credit Card System Support, SST & Debit Card System Support & Card Distribution Unit.
  • Manages investment and staff budget for System & Operation Support
  • Develop annual dept business plan relating to Operation Support & System Parameter aligned with Card Business strategic growth

CUSTOMER (INTERNAL AND/OR EXTERNAL)

  • Support project teams to deliver timely launches, smooth execution of system & Ops activities, & swift issue resolution with minimal losses, in line with agreed KPIs.
  • Oversee Cards UAT activities to ensure vendors meet agreed quality standards and delivery timelines.
  • Provide clear and timely communication to internal and external stakeholders on project progress, effectiveness and system readiness.
  • Drive awareness and adoption of new regulatory and compliance requirements through ongoing stakeholder communication and engagement.

PROCESS / WELL-MANAGED

  • Manage and monitor system development/production issue resolutions & deliverables to ensure target/timelines set by the Top Management are met.
  • Manage and monitor work completed to ensure project timeline is met with good quality.
  • Provide advisory and direction to project teams to ensure all business requirements raised by Business Stakeholder are aligned.
  • Managing risk for Cards system with proper mitigation.
  • Reassess current process relating to system support areas for efficiency optimization for key stakeholders (both cost savings and shorter TAT)
  • Preparing monthly reporting on system availability and downtime.

COMPLIANCE

  • Appropriately assess risks when executing business decisions by applying sound ethical judgement in your roles and responsibilities.
  • Identify and escalate all potential breaches and control gaps inherent in procedures and transactions in a time sensitive manne.
  • Conduct business and day to day activities in compliance to Group's AML programme, policies and procedures.
  • Being a role model the right behaviours and values guided by the Group's code of ethics.
  • Complete all mandatory AML / CFT trainings.
