Job Description

At TNG Digital, part of TNG Digital Group, we build the tech behind TNG eWallet, one of Malaysia's most used apps for payments and everyday life.

Millions of people rely on us daily, not just to pay, but to manage money, access financial services, and get things done faster and simpler.

Behind it all is a team that likes to question how things are done, move quickly, and try new ideas. If you enjoy solving real problems and seeing your work used at scale, you will feel right at home here.

Role Overview:

The Senior Manager, Talent & Development Partner role supports organisation‑wide talent management by translating business priorities into workforce and capability needs, delivering meaningful talent insights, and partnering with leaders to strengthen succession and critical talent pipelines. The role provides strategic oversight of learning to ensure development efforts support readiness, role transitions, and performance outcomes.

What You'll Do:

Talent Management

  • Translate business strategy into future capability and workforce implications, highlighting gaps, priorities, and risks.
  • Deliver clear talent insights to support workforce planning, investment decisions, and leadership discussions.
  • Provide focused oversight of high‑potential and critical talent, ensuring development actions meaningfully improve readiness and retention.
  • Partner with senior leaders to identify critical roles and build strong, sustainable succession pipelines.
  • Lead talent reviews and calibration to assess readiness, potential, and risk, enabling clear, differentiated talent decisions.

Learning & Development

  • Provide strategic direction and oversight for learning initiatives to ensure alignment with talent priorities and future capability needs.
  • Partner with stakeholders to ensure learning solutions support succession readiness, role transitions, and performance uplift, rather than stand‑alone training.
  • Review and interpret learning effectiveness data to assess impact on capability and performance outcomes

Role Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree, Postgraduate Diploma, or Professional Degree in Human Resource Management or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 7 years of experience in Talent Management, preferably within FinTech, technology, or fast-paced digital environments.
  • Attributes: Proactive, energetic, positive, and creative with a strong growth mindset.
  • Language Skills: Excellent written and spoken English and Malay; proficiency in Mandarin is an added advantage.
  • Communication Skills: Strong ability to communicate effectively and deliver engaging presentations
  • Work Style: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Industry Knowledge: Understanding of FinTech trends, digital transformation, and regulatory compliance in financial services is an advantage.
