Senior Manager/Vice President, Accounting Policy & Reporting

Key Responsibilities:-

• Ensure Group financial reporting complies with IFRS/MFRS, regulatory requirements, and listing rules
• Provide expert advice on complex accounting matters, new products, transactions, and strategic initiatives
• Assess the impact of new or revised accounting standards and regulatory changes
• Prepare and review audited financial statements, regulatory disclosures, and financial analyses
• Develop and maintain Group accounting policies and support system and process improvements
• Liaise with internal and external auditors, regulators, and industry bodies
• Partner with finance teams and business units to ensure consistent and appropriate accounting treatment
• Support senior management with clear guidance on accounting implications of business decisions

Requirements:-

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• Professional qualification (ACCA, MICPA-CAANZ, or equivalent)
• Minimum 12 years of experience in technical accounting, financial reporting, or audit
• Strong knowledge of IFRS/MFRS, banking regulations, and Bursa listing requirements
• Proven experience handling complex accounting areas such as financial instruments and M&A
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• Experience engaging with auditors or regulators is an advantage
