Role Overview:
- Support the setup of a new clean manufacturing facility
- Establish new production processes
- Improve productivity, quality, and support New Product Introductions (NPIs)
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and coordinate new CAPEX and production expansion projects
- Develop technical specifications and engage with suppliers
- Prepare work instructions, SOPs, routings, and checklists
- Support production scale-up and process enhancements
- Work with Production, Quality, and Engineering teams to improve operations
- Support internal and external audit activities
- Lead quality improvement initiatives and corrective actions
- Conduct root cause analysis, PFMEA, MSA, and other quality tools
- Plan and schedule routine maintenance to maximise machine uptime
- Coordinate with maintenance contractors
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Production, Operations, Quality, and Logistics
- Perform tasks assigned by immediate superior
- Comply with all Health & Safety responsibilities
Requirements:
- Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years experience in high-tech manufacturing
- Strong background in process optimization, quality control, and problem-solving
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma (advantage)
- Proficient in MS Excel and PowerPoint
- Basic CAD skills (advantage)
- Strong project management skills (PMP is a plus)
- Experience with SAP (advantage)
- Experience in NPI/New Product Introduction (advantage)
