Duties and responsibilities
- Assist the Marketing & Communications Manager in formulating company strategies, marketing offers, brand awareness, and implementing new product/initiative launches.
- Responsible for day-to-day operations, including corporate communications, PR activities, media monitoring, digital marketing, content marketing, creative development/design of marketing materials, sales operational support and monitoring, etc.
- Assist in operational business activities with various needs, including messaging, collateral, presentations, and logistics.
- Manage the proposition life cycle from inception to launch and beyond.
- Enjoys brainstorming, coming up with creative ideas, seeing it come to life and learning from it.
- Develop and maintain relationships with media outlets, industry influencers, and other relevant stakeholders.
- Cultivate a strong network of contacts within the media and industry to secure favourable coverage and partnerships.
- Proactively seek opportunities for media placements, interviews, and speaking engagements to promote the company's brand and products/services.
- Monitor media coverage and industry trends to identify opportunities and mitigate potential risks.
Requirements:
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Public Relations/Communications or equivalent.
- Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese.
- Preferably from fast-paced and tech/digitally inclined industries that runs aggressive marketing campaigns.
- Excellent working knowledge and experience of Microsoft Office.
- Good understanding of PC/Mobile digital advertising networks, social media and advertising tools, creative software.
- Analytical, detail-oriented, and conscientious.
- Independent and result-driven mind set.
- Able to meet tight deadlines and produce work with quick turnaround.
- Candidates may need travel occasionally.
