Primary duties and responsibilities
1)Marketing Strategy & Planning
- Support the planning and execution of marketing strategies for ZEISS Vision
- Develop joint marketing plans in collaboration with Sales and Key Account team to align ZEISS programs with partner business objectives
- Contribute to product launch planning, pricing communication, and partner enablement programs
- Build understanding of the vision care industry, market trends, and channel dynamics
- Analyze partner growth strategies, competitor programs, and consumer behavior to inform marketing initiatives
- Ensure all marketing collateral, campaigns, and activations comply with ZEISS brand standards, visual identity, and relevant regulations
2)Branding & Partner Experience
- Ensure consistent application of ZEISS branding across all partner outlets, events, campaigns, and consumer touchpoints
- Collaborate with Global Brand team to maintain high-quality brand visuals, messaging, and consumer experience
- Support partner marketing and communications to enhance brand perception and recognition at in-store and consumer levels
- Act as a brand guardian, ensuring marketing programs strengthen ZEISS positioning in the market
3)Marketing Execution
- Develop, execute, and monitor trade marketing campaigns across all sales channels (ECPs and chain stores)
- Plan and implement partner marketing programs, ATL/BTL campaigns, and in-store activations that drive partner growth and consumer engagement
- Localize global marketing initiatives for the Malaysian market and partner needs
- Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to deliver campaigns on time and on budget
- Monitor and analyze program effectiveness, KPIs, and ROI; recommend improvements to optimize outcomes
- Develop trade POS materials and demo tools in collaboration with Product Team, from concept to delivery
- Work with partners to enhance the in-store consumer journey, ensuring a consistent and premium ZEISS experience
- Support marketing programs that drive consumer awareness, traffic, and conversion at ZEISS partner outlets
- Ensure marketing initiatives reinforce ZEISS brand positioning and product benefits to end consumers
4)Events Management
- Plan and organize events and roadshows including product launches, annual customer events, trade exhibitions, conferences/workshops, and chain store collaborations
- Ensure all events/exhibitions comply with ZEISS branding guidelines
- Conduct post-event reporting and evaluation, including vendor and organizer performance
5)Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with Sales, Commercial, Product, Training, Branding, and Global Marketing teams to deliver integrated marketing initiatives
- Share market, partner, and consumer insights to support business planning and decision-making
- Participate in business reviews with Sales and partners to evaluate marketing performance and identify growth opportunities
- Any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.
Education / Professional Certification
- Degree in Marketing / Business / Communication or a related discipline
Experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience in marketing, preferably in optical, healthcare, or retail industries.
- Proven experience in managing B2B2C marketing initiatives.
Knowledge / Skills / Other characteristics
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to advise partners and align marketing with business objectives.
- Experience in designing and implementing tiered partner programs, including benefits, differentiation, and support structures.
- Excellent project management skills: ability to drive complex projects end-to-end, including timelines, approvals, and cross-functional coordination.
- Strong brand and consumer experience mindset: ensures ZEISS premium experience across all touchpoints.
- Excellent stakeholder management and interpersonal skills; able to work with Sales, Marketing, Product, Operations, Training, and Global teams.
- Analytical mindset: ability to monitor KPIs, track partner performance, and provide actionable insights for improvement.
- Proficiency in digital marketing tools, CRM, and reporting platforms.
- Strategic thinker with hands-on execution capability.
- Self-starter and highly organized, able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communicator, both verbal and written, capable of influencing internal and external stakeholders.
- Results-oriented and customer-centric, with a passion for driving partner and consumer experience excellence.
- Knowledge and experience in ATL/BTL marketing, trade marketing, branding, and campaign management.
- Experience managing advertising, promotion, and marketing vendors.
