Role: Mechanical Senior Engineer
Duration: 12 months - renewable
Salary range: MYR 5,000 - MYR 9,000
Location: Bayan Lepas Free Industrial Zone Phase 1, 11900 Bayan Lepas, Penang, Malaysia.
Working Days & Hours: Monday to Friday; 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for mechanical / HVAC system.
- Responsible for operation & maintenance, ensure uninterrupted supply to production.
- Responsible for document management related to mechanical / HVAC system.
- Responsible for continuous improvement programs related to mechanical / HVAC system
- Participate in facilities project planning and implementation related to mechanical / HVAC system.
- Provide technical assistance within facility context to all internal customers including company's captive manufacturing partners / vendors.
- Engage actively in energy conservation programs.
- Participate in projects related to EHS, cost savings and 5s activities.
- Develop training materials and conduct training for technicians in responsible system.
- Other assignment as required by the department.
Requirements:
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering or any other related discipline.
- At least 5 years working experience in required field is required for this position.
- Exposure to Wafer Fab Front of Line (FOL) / End of Line (EOL) / Back End Processes will have added advantage.
- Knowledge of mechanical / HVAC system in fab / back end industry.
- Candidate must be familiar with the operation, maintenance and documentation of mechanical / HVAC system.
- Candidate with working knowledge of Class 100 cleanroom, chilled water system, process cooling water system, exhaust system, compressed dry air and process vacuum system is preferred.
- Candidate with working knowledge of SCADA (Siemens PCS7) or BMS will have added advantage
- Must be able to work under fast demand environment.
- Good interpersonal skills, problem solving and decision making skills.
