Who We Are Looking For:

The Medical Writer is responsible for creating high-quality content for MIMS MedComms tailored solutions to address the medical communications objectives of our client partners (eg, pharmaceutical, governmental or healthcare providers).

What Impact You Will Make:

  • Acquire and maintain a deep scientific understanding of clients brand portfolios in order to provide tailored and insightful advice on MedComms solutions.
  • Use scientific knowledge to create high-quality content to meet client objectives whilst adhering to compliance and editorial quality standards.
  • Build knowledge of key opinion leaders in key therapeutic areas and liaise with them to ensure the successful delivery of medical communications projects.

What Skills and Experience You Will Bring:

  • Graduate degree in the sciences (PhD, MSc, BSc); healthcare science degree a plus (MD, PharmD, BPharm).
  • At least 3 years of scientific/medical writing experience, preferably in a MedComms agency or pharmaceutical Medical Affairs setting.
  • Experience in running or facilitating advisory boards, scientific meetings, webinars, etc is highly preferred.
  • Complete fluency in written and spoken English (an IELTS score of ≥7.5 or an equivalent benchmark).
  • Ability to distill complex scientific concepts into clear, concise messages.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
  • Self-motivated and is capable of working in a team.
