As the Senior Manager of Merchandising, you'll spearhead the merchandising strategies, overseeing the planning, implementation, and execution of product placement and assortment to optimize sales and profit. You'll collaborate cross-functionally with various teams, ensuring alignment with marketing, sales, and supply chain to meet the business objectives and enhance the overall customer experience.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute comprehensive merchandising strategies aligned with company goals.
- Analyze market trends, consumer behavior, and sales data to identify opportunities and make informed merchandising decisions.
- Manage product assortment, pricing strategies, and promotional activities to drive sales and maximize profitability.
- Work closely with vendors and suppliers to negotiate terms, optimize inventory levels, and ensure product quality and availability.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitors, and best practices to maintain a competitive edge.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field (Master's preferred).
- Proven experience (3 to 5 years) in merchandising, preferably in a managerial or leadership role.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and market trends to drive business decisions.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
- Strategic thinker with a keen eye for detail and a results-driven mindset.
- Proficiency in merchandising software/tools and MS Office suite.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Ability to converse in Mandarin will be added advantage.
