We are currently seeking a group of experienced and talented Senior Mobile Application Developers with expertise in Android / iOS platforms to play key roles in the development of Pixlr. As a Senior Mobile Application Developer, you will work directly with the CEO of Pixlr & cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement robust and user-friendly mobile applications that leverage AI capabilities to redefine the photo editing experience.
The Job:
- Shipping Great Products Fast:
- Experiment, push boundaries and possibilities of mobile applications based on user and market needs
- Constantly improve the user experience of the applications to delight our users
- Mobile Application Development:
- Execute end-to-end development of Pixlr's mobile applications on Android / iOS platforms
- Architect, design, and implement new features and enhancements, ensuring high performance, responsiveness, and seamless user experience
- AI Integration:
- Work closely with the AI & ML teams to integrate cutting-edge technologies into Pixlr's mobile applications
- Implement AI-powered features to enhance photo editing capabilities and provide users with a unique and intelligent editing experience
- Code Quality and Maintenance:
- Ensure code quality through code reviews, unit testing, and continuous integration
- Collaborate with the Software QA team to identify and address bugs, performance bottlenecks, and other technical issues
- Cross-functional Collaboration:
- Collaborate with Product designers to implement visually appealing and intuitive interfaces
- Work closely with web developers to integrate mobile applications with server-side components and services
- Stay Updated:
- Stay abreast of the latest industry trends, mobile technologies, and advancements in AI to bring innovative ideas to the development process
Requirements
The Person:
- Extensive experience in Android / iOS mobile application development
- Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Kotlin / Swift
- Strong interest in AI technologies, particularly in image processing and computer vision
- Excellent communication skills to effectively convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering high-quality solutions
- Demonstrated experience in delivering successful and innovative mobile applications
- Strong interest in AI technologies, particularly in image processing and computer vision
- Strong knowledge of Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD), as well as Agile Development Methodologies
- Good command in English (written and spoken)
