Senior MS SQL Database Administrator

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer, maintain, and optimize Microsoft SQL Server databases in both on-premises and cloud-native environments.
• Ensure high availability, performance tuning, and disaster recovery strategies are effectively implemented.
• Perform database backups, restores, migrations, and upgrades.
• Monitor database performance and proactively resolve performance bottlenecks.
• Collaborate with application and infrastructure teams to ensure database integrity and security.
• Develop and maintain database documentation, including schemas, procedures, and configurations.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience as an MS SQL DBA in a production environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft SQL Server (SQL Level 3) and Cloud-native Database Technologies (e.g., Azure SQL, AWS RDS).
• Strong knowledge of T-SQL, stored procedures, indexing, and query optimization.
• Experience with database automation and monitoring tools.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work onsite and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
