Job Description:

The Senior Member of Technical Staff (MTS) in Product Development Engineering will serve as a technical leader, driving the definition, verification, and optimization of full-chip test methodologies and on-chip DFT (Design-for-Test) strategies. This role is pivotal in ensuring technical excellence, fostering innovation, and aligning engineering outcomes with business objectives. It requires deep technical expertise, exceptional problem-solving skills, and the ability to mentor and inspire junior engineers while orchestrating seamless cross-functional collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Product Development Leadership: Lead complete product development cycles, spanning pre-silicon design through post-silicon validation, ensuring robust testability and performance.
  • Technical Innovation: Champion advanced engineering solutions, introducing innovative test methodologies that simplify processes and elevate product quality.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with global teams across design, software, manufacturing, and product engineering to embed test capabilities throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Mentorship: Inspire, guide, and develop a high‑performing team by cultivating deep technical expertise, encouraging knowledge sharing, and fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement workflow enhancements to boost efficiency, strengthen compliance, and streamline development practices.
  • Risk Management: Proactively anticipate, assess, and mitigate technical risks to safeguard product integrity and delivery timelines.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's in Electrical Engineering or equivalent, with a minimum of 10-15 years of experience in semiconductor product development, with a track record of leading complex projects from concept to production.

Proven experience in DFT (Design‑for‑Test), full‑chip test methodologies, and silicon validation.

Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities, with demonstrated success in resolving complex technical challenges.

Experience mentoring engineers and fostering collaborative, high‑performance teams.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence and align cross‑functional stakeholders.

Passion for driving technical innovation and continuous improvement in engineering processes.
