Senior Murex Developer (Datamart Reporting)

We are seeking a Senior Murex Developer with strong expertise in Murex Datamartreporting to join the MEA Tech team. The role focuses on designing, developing, and

supporting Datamart solutions within the Murex platform, ensuring accurate, scalable,and high-performance reporting for business and regulatory requirements. The ideal

candidate will have strong technical capabilities across SQL, Java/Python, and databasetechnologies, along with hands-on experience in Murex Datamart architecture and

configuration.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, and enhance Murex Datamart reporting solutions.

- Configure and maintain Datamart schemas, feeders, batches, and extractionprocesses.

- Develop and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and performance tuningactivities.

- Integrate Murex Datamart with Oracle and SQL Server 2012 databases.

- Support report generation for risk, finance, and regulatory reporting needs.

- Troubleshoot production issues related to Datamart data loads and reportingdiscrepancies.

- Automate processes using Java, Python, and Linux scripting where applicable.

- Collaborate with business analysts, risk teams, and infrastructure teams forrequirement analysis and solution delivery.

- Ensure data integrity, reconciliation, and consistency across reporting layers.

Required Skills:

- 6-9 years of experience in Murex development with strong focus on MurexDatamart.

- Hands-on experience in Datamart configuration, feeders, and reportingarchitecture.

- Strong SQL expertise (query writing, performance tuning, stored procedures).

- Experience with Oracle and SQL Server 2012 databases.

- Proficiency in Java and/or Python for integration and automation tasks.

- Experience working in Windows Server 2012 and Linux environments.

- Strong troubleshooting and production support experience.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

- Experience in risk, finance, or regulatory reporting domains.

- Knowledge of Murex workflows and trade lifecycle.

- Exposure to batch scheduling and job automation tools.

- Understanding of data reconciliation and financial data controls.

- Experience working in large-scale banking or capital markets environments.
