Senior Murex Developer (MxML Interface)

We are seeking an experienced Senior Murex Developer with strong expertise in MxML Interface development to support and enhance Murex-based integration solutions. The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining MxML interfaces, ensuring seamless data exchange between Murex and external systems while meeting business and technical requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain Murex MxML interfaces for inbound and outbound integrations.
• Customize and enhance MxML workflows, messages, and schemas based on business needs.
• Work closely with functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Perform unit testing, integration testing, and support UAT activities.
• Troubleshoot and resolve interface, data, and performance issues in Murex environments.
• Ensure compliance with best practices, coding standards, and system architecture guidelines.
• Support production issues and provide root cause analysis and fixes.
• Collaborate with infrastructure and database teams for deployments and environment support.

Required Skills:

• 6-9 years of hands-on experience as a Murex Developer.
• Strong expertise in Murex MxML development (mandatory).
• Experience working with Murex interfaces and integrations.
• Solid knowledge of SQL Server 2012 for data analysis and troubleshooting.
• Experience working in Windows Server 2012 environments.
• Strong understanding of Murex architecture and data models.
• Good problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills.
• Ability to work independently in a senior/lead capacity.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Experience in MEA Tech domain or similar financial technology environments.
• Exposure to other Murex modules beyond interfaces.
• Knowledge of scripting or automation to support deployments and monitoring.
• Prior experience in production support and performance optimization.
