Your new role
As a Senior Network Engineer, you will play a critical role in supporting and enhancing a global IT infrastructure environment. You will design, implement, and maintain enterprise-grade network and security solutions while ensuring high performance and availability across systems.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing and supporting global network infrastructure across LAN, WAN, cloud, and wireless environments
- Designing and implementing scalable, resilient network solutions aligned with business needs
- Configuring routing and switching technologies across various brands
- Administering firewalls, SD-WAN, SASE, and cloud networking platforms
- Monitoring network performance, identifying trends, and proactively resolving issues
- Troubleshooting complex network and infrastructure incidents to ensure system reliability
- Leveraging automation tools such as Terraform to optimise network operations
- Maintaining accurate documentation and managing service tickets through standard ITSM tools
- Supporting on-site infrastructure needs and participating once a month in on-call rotation
What you'll need to succeed
- Minimum of 6 years in network operation and network security role
- Strong hands-on experience in complex network design, implementation, and operations
- Solid understanding of routing protocols such as BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, and RIP
- Deep knowledge of IP networking, LAN/WAN, SD-WAN, VPN, and data communication technologies
- Experience with enterprise technologies such as Palo Alto firewalls, SASE, Cisco/Meraki, and cloud platforms
- Familiarity with automation tools for network configuration and management (good to have)
- Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and analytical skills
- Ability to multitask, prioritise effectively, and work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset
