Position Overview:
- Administer the IT network maintenance support to ensure the smoothness of PSMB's daily operations and in accordance with IT policies and procedures.
- Administer and maintain the network tools that perform functions relative to network to support PSMB's business requirement.
- Generate network statistics and reporting based on PSMB's business requirements.
- Assist in the IT network strategy and ensure its effective implementation to meet the PSMB's strategic goals in line with the latest technology.
- Designing functional network infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer and manage the implementation of the IT Operations & Digitisation initiatives on server and network especially on WAN, LAN, WIFI and TMS in PSMB through effective, efficient, and uninterrupted manner to ensure business user achieved their targeted goals.
- Enforce the server and network operation maintenance through the policies and procedures for electronic data processing, computer systems operations and development to ensure data integrity and minimal downtime.
- Advice and manage the implementation of continuous IT Operations and Maintenance to deliver seamless IT experience to the stakeholder by providing the best technical support on network equipment, server, data network, LAN & WAN, remote access, main computer devices like printer and etc. to ensure stakeholder needs fulfilled.
- Assist, liaise, resolving issues, manage and monitor the procurement process, vendor service delivery and multiple IT Projects implementation related to ICT hardware, software and services leveraging on expertise and experience in dealing with similar situations to ensure quality, cost effectiveness for PSMB and alignment of business requirement.
- Educate and assist in providing a work environment that is motivating and identify high potential employees for succession planning by recommending development needs as required through clear and concise communications to ensure the best progress of the organization.
- Assist the IT Operations related to DevOps activity, task, and management where and when required.
- Assist in documentation task such as drafting IT policy, SOP, memo, tender document, agreement, paperwork, etc.
- Undertake other such reasonable duties as and when required by the Management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related disciplines.
- Experience and knowledge of IT Operations, local area network (LAN), wide area network (WAN), server & application security, concepts and technologies with Disaster Recovery implementation and maintenance, DevOps.
- Knowledge and hands on of client server computing and desktop environment, virtual server environment, Windows Server, networking and Internet concepts, Enterprise Anti-Virus and Time Management System.
- Knowledge and hands on of production, development, testing and training environment.
- Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar.
- More than 5 years of experience with extensive exposure in IT Operation (Network Infrastrucespecially on networking system.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Customer-focused attitude with a commitment to providing exceptional service.
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Attention to detail and strong time management skills.
- Adaptability to rapidly changing technology and industry trends.
- Language proficiency in English is required, and proficiency in Chinese [if applicable] is a valuable asset that enhances cross-cultural communication.
- Willing to work in HQ Office at Damansara Heights.
