We are looking for an experienced engineer to lead validation and qualification activities related to cost-down projects across multiple types of components and assemblies. You will evaluate alternative suppliers, test prototype parts, analyze deviations against golden units, and develop application-level tests using our ATE platforms. You should be hands-on, curious, and driven to ensure quality and performance in every product we ship.
Here's where you come in:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams including NPI, R&D, Production and Quality to evaluate alternative vendor sources and ensure they meet our electrical and functional expectations.
- Defining test coverage, overseeing prototype evaluation, driving failure analysis, and strengthening our qualification process.
- Develop simple application tests using Aemulus hardware modules to evaluate device-level behaviour or customer-use scenarios.

Requirements
- Candidates must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, or Professional Degree in Engineering of Electrical/Electronic/Communications/Mechatronic or equivalent.
- Candidates must obtain at least 5 years and above experience.
- Must have strong understanding of electronic schematics and PCB-level circuit analysis.
- Must obtained hands-on experience with test and measurement equipment including SMU, DMM, Oscilloscope, AWG, DPS, and relevant ATE modules.
- Experience in data analysis, failure investigation, and validation of PCB/SMT builds or electronic assemblies.
- Knowledge of programming (Python/C#/C++) will be an added advantage.
- Experience in application-level testing or ATE validation will be highly valued.
- Possess excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability or experience to lead junior engineers, drive tasks independently, and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in Mandarin is highly prefer due to business need of handling China or Taiwan stakeholder.
