Position: Senior Operation Manager
Working Time: Mon - Friday,9am-6pm

Job Descriptions:
Migration phase (Year 1 - Year 2)
- Migration delivery and change management: co-author the migration plan with the outsourced consulting partner and other stakeholders, and own end-to-end delivery of each wave, from knowledge transfer through pilot, parallel run, cutover, and post-go-live stabilization.
- Process review and re-engineering: lead the redesign of in-scope back and middle office processes document the new standard operating procedures (SOPs), control points, and exception handling guides that the KL team will operate against.
- Automation enablement: identify and shape automation opportunities across ERP / core banking workflow, RPA, and agentic AI, including the design of human-in-the-loop controls to ensure quality and risk standards are maintained.
- Team build-out in KL: work with the outsourced consulting partner to design the KL organization, recruit and onboard the operations team in line with the wave plan and certify each team member on their assigned processes before cutover.
Post-migration phase (Year 2 onwards: Steady-State Operations)
- Service delivery: deliver back and middle office services across all in-scope process pods to agreed service levels and quality standards manage daily and weekly operational cadence and exception handling
- Risk and controls: own the operational risk framework, internal controls, business continuity planning, and audit readiness for the KL Centre of Excellence.
- Continuous improvement: run a structured continuous improvement programmed with year-on-year targets for productivity, error reduction, and cycle-time compression track and drive down unit cost-to-serve.
- People leadership: lead and develop a multi-process operations team across payments, trade finance, loans, treasury operations, KYC, reconciliations, and regulatory reporting manage performance, succession planning, and retention.
Requirements
- Minimum 8-12 years of banking operations experience , including back office or middle office work.
- Minimum 3-5 years in a captive Centre of Excellence, Global Business Services (GBS), or shared services environment.
- Hands-on experience: payments and SWIFT, trade finance, loan operations, treasury back office, reconciliations, KYC / CDD, regulatory reporting.
- Track record on at least one operations migration or transition project (executed, not just observed)
- Working knowledge of a core banking platform (Temenos T24, Finacle, Flexcube, or similar).
