Key Responsibilities
- Administer, develop, test, and demonstrate database solutions
- Design, implement, and maintain new and existing databases
- Perform database backup, recovery, and configuration management
- Install and manage Database Management Systems (DBMS)
- Monitor database performance and implement optimization strategies
- Ensure data integrity, security, and high availability
- Troubleshoot database issues and ensure timely resolution with minimal downtime
- Develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans
- Contribute to procedure updates, documentation, and problem resolution
- Actively participate in team discussions and provide effective technical solutions
- Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in database administration
Requirements
- Intermediate proficiency in Oracle Database Administration (Oracle DBA)
- Solid understanding of Database Management concepts
- Experience with performance tuning, backup & recovery, and monitoring
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
