About The Role
Our client is looking for an experienced Senior Package Engineer (Marine) to support engineering work for FPSO/tanker conversion projects. This role focuses on marine systems engineering, piping design, and package management throughout Concept, FEED, and project execution phases.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development of technical engineering deliverables for marine & machinery systems.
- Develop piping design, basis of design, equipment specs, and scope of work for RFQs.
- Prepare engineering reports such as MDR, calculations, drawings, specifications.
- Support vessel inspections and assessments for candidate hulls.
- Review FEED/DDE deliverables from subcontractors and provide technical comments.
- Manage documentation and engineering data in line with internal standards.
- Provide technical support to the Marine Piping Lead during project execution.
Requirements
- 7+ years experience in Oil & Gas OR tanker operations.
- At least 2 years experience in EPCC projects.
- Experience with floating units (FPSO/FPU) — Concept, FEED, DDE stages preferred.
- Strong understanding of engineering tools, design standards, and risk management.
