We are seeking a
Senior Power BI Developer in Bangsar South to build, test and roll out business intelligence solutions used by stakeholders across the organization. You will translate reporting needs into trusted dashboards, strengthen data models and support releases through UAT and hyper care in a structured delivery environment.
Responsibilities
- Develop Power BI reports and dashboards aligned to design standards and best practices
- Build and optimize data models, measures and transformations for reliable analytics
- Produce clear build documentation to support maintenance and knowledge transfer
- Perform unit testing, peer reviews and defect triage to improve solution quality
- Support system integration testing and user acceptance testing (UAT) activities
- Deploy releases to production and monitor stability during hyper care
- Provide end-user support and troubleshoot Power BI and data issues
Requirements
- Power BI development experience, including Power Query and DAX (Data Analysis Expressions)
- SQL capability to query, validate and troubleshoot data in relational databases
- Data warehousing knowledge, including ETL (extract, transform, load) concepts and dimensional modeling
- Problem-solving skills with a structured approach to root-cause analysis
- Clear communication for working across developers, analysts and business stakeholders
- English proficiency for day-to-day collaboration and documentation
- Comfort supporting international stakeholders across time zones and working styles
Nice to have
- Exposure to other visualization tools such as Tableau or MicroStrategy
- Familiarity working in Agile delivery teams
- Experience with DevOps practices for release management and operational support
