Senior Principal Mechanical Design Engineer to join our high-tech R&D and engineering team, where you will develop cutting-edge solutions for the next generation of semiconductor equipment.
In this role, you will work within a multidisciplinary team of toptier engineers, pushing the boundaries of motion control accuracy, cost-of-goods, thermal stability, dynamic behavior, and mechanical robustness. You will have the freedom to innovate, the responsibility to lead, and the opportunity to influence products that shape the semiconductor industry worldwide.
Your Responsibilities
- Mechanical design of highprecision modules and systems used in advanced semiconductor manufacturing.
- Translate system requirements into robust mechanical concepts, detailed designs, and validated solutions.
- Develop, review, and support the team to create cost, mass and accuracy critical modules and parts.
- Perform complex analyses (e.g., FEM, thermal, vibration, dynamics) to ensure optimal system performance.
- Collaborate closely with mechatronics, electronics, optics, and manufacturing engineering.
- Drive continuous improvementin design quality, development processes, and product performance.
- Ensure your designs remain manufacturable, costeffective, and compliant with industry standards.
Your Profile
You are an engineering professional with deep technical insight, a pragmatic mindset, and a passion for highprecision technology. You enjoy solving complex engineering challenges and working in a fastpaced, cuttingedge environment.
You bring:
- A Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
- 10 years of experience in mechanical design, preferably within the semiconductor, highprecision, robotics, or mechatronics domain.
- Proven experience with 3D CAD tools (e.g., NX, SolidWorks, Creo) and simulation software.
- Strong analytical capabilities and expertise in precision engineering principles.
- A proactive mindset, strong communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams.
- A structured, qualitydriven approach to engineering challenges.
