Job Responsibilities
- Provide engineering and technical support for process and mold-related issues across new and existing products
- Operate, set up, and maintain injection moulding machines, including troubleshooting moulding faults and supporting production activities
- Coordinate mold trials, tooling activities, and molded part troubleshooting, implementing necessary engineering changes to ensure consistent quality and smooth production
- Lead the implementation of molding and assembly processes for New Product Introduction projects
- Conduct Design of Experiments on molding process parameters to establish optimal process windows and meet required cycle times
- Address daily quality and production issues while contributing to continuous process improvement and lean initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce scrap
- Work with cross-functional teams to evaluate product failures, identify root causes, and recommend technical improvements
- Collaborate with the Quality team on testing activities and report consolidation for approval reviews
- Serve as the key technical interface between product design teams and manufacturing, acting as the local technical expert for product and molding-related matters
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree / Diploma in Manufacturing Engineering, Tools & Dies, Material Sciences or equivalent.
- Preferably with at least 5 years of experience in Injection Molding process, including mold trials, tooling, and troubleshooting.
- Strong technical and problem-solving skills.
