Job Description

We are looking for a senior process engineer who is responsible to conduct process risk assessments, devise risk mitigative measures in the PCS process definitions and govern the production release of the PCS processes for NPI customization products.

Your responsibilities include, but not limited to:

To lead cross-functional NPI teams of Fixture Design, Product Design, Quality and Production to develop new Assembly & Testing process and proposal for DFA (Design for Assembly).

Support NPI for new products feasibility study to develop and establish assembly and testing process.

Define, procure, setup and release assembly tools, test equipment, workstation and other accessories for NPI projects.

Support cross-functional team initiatives to continuously improve assembly lines cycle time and efficiency to increase yield and productivity.

Improve and standardize assembly and troubleshooting methods to enhance process quality and safety.

Lead cross-functional team for safety risk assessment (HIRARC), process handshake package and execute measures for NPI process releases.

Actively engage and support in change management related topic and execution.

Actively contribute in PFMEA to analyze quality risks and define preventive and detective actions to mitigate them.

Work closely with counterparts from VAT Group for new Equipment, Process and System development for technological advancement.

Engage in problem solving activities, implement corrective actions and effectively communicate those actions to all required personnel.

Conduct training for Production supervisor / leader / assemblers in the use and applications of various assembly tools and processes.

Develop and maintain assembly process standards and documentation: Process Definition (PCS) & work instructions.

Be the subject matter expert for assembly and test processes, in alignment with global process engineering team in headquarter.

Support daily tasks as given by Management.

Preferred Qualification:

At least 2 years of experience in Mechanical Assembly industry (Process Development / Leak Testing / Cleaning / Cleanroom Assembly).

Diploma / Degree in Mechanical Engineering / Manufacturing or equivalent

4 years of experience in Mechanical Assembly industry (Process Development / Leak Testing / Cleaning / Cleanroom Assembly).

Pro-active, Organized, good team player and customer-oriented

Strong organization, time management, planning skills and ability to manage multiple tasks with tight deadlines.

Strong interpersonal skills, experienced in leading cross-functional teams

Experience in vacuum valve industry and leak tight equipment manufacturing assembly process.

Practical LEAN Manufacturing background

Experience in picture editing software (Adobe photoshop)

NX CAD software

Six sigma / 8D problem solving skills

Proficient in English
