Job Description
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
- Assist the Procurement team with reporting requirements, including but not limited to spend visibility, cost savings analyses, and market research reports
- Strong interpersonal, teaming, and problem-solving skills
- Partner with Sourcing Leadership and Finance teams to assist in developing annual sourcing budgets and quarterly forecasts
- Deliver accurate end-of-quarter and year-end reporting, including reconciled sourcing actuals, and variance explanations
- Contribute to the evolution and enhancement of sourcing and procurement systems/processes.
- Identify workflow inefficiencies and propose improvements.
- Participate in cross-functional sourcing management teams to evaluate vendor capabilities and performance
- Overall responsibility for developing and reporting key metrics for Indirect Procurement Team
- Analyzing and communicating value capture opportunities in assigned spend categories
- Assist Category Managers with data integrity, savings reporting events, and category strategies
- Develop and maintain productive, cross-functional business relationships with several cross-functional groups
- Educate business teams on Procurement policies and practices
Education & Experience
- Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain/Logistics, Finance, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in Procurement
- List any licenses or certifications required by the position: ISM, APICS, CPM, CPIM, ITIL, CPSM, CMA, CPA, MBA, IAM
Skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to analyze data to understand trends and develop action plans
- High degree of proficiency MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Google Workspace (Google Drive, Sheets, Docs, etc.) & Internet applications
- Strong analytical, prioritizing, interpersonal, problem-solving, and presentation skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to balance competing priorities
- Ability to work with and influence peers, customers and senior management
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment
- Self-motivated with critical attention to detail, deadlines, and reporting
- Project planning and management experience a plus
