ABOUT YOUR ROLE
The overall responsibility of this position is to coordinate all aspects of Malaysia coaters planning, delivery, inventory control and planning process improvement.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:
Responsible for production scheduling and coordinating manufacturing activities to meet the requirements of both of the external and internal customers.
Manage and control work in process, finished product and slow moving inventory for achieving KPIs.
Resolves day to day issues with cross functional teams concerning scheduling and delivery problems.
Align and manage with the operation team on the production and delivery constraints as well as flexibility for demand changes.
Work with oversea DC planners and local customer service teams to gather the orders and ensure delivery on time and achieve service level targets.
Review and confirm delivery date to Non Asean countries including the drop shipments orders.
Manage demand and supply based on the S & OP capacity plan of all machines including limit raw material sometimes.
Maintain the campaign schedule model and product family to optimize the change over, inventory and delivery due date.
Support new development project, trial schedule, negotiating on constraints and ensure smooth transition to new items without old inventory left.
Analyze data and make decisions on unforeseen issues as well as work with the team and the back up or contingency plan.
Raise the difficulty and propose solutions to the supervisor, brainstorm and discuss the proposed solution.
Maintain item data , appropriate records and prepare reports.
WHAT WE WILL BE LOOKING FOR IN YOU:
Bachelor's Degree in related fields.
Minimum 5 – 7 years experience in manufacturing environment (preferably with multinational companies) with specific experience in production / material planning and inventory control
Strong analytical skills, and detail oriented
Self initiated and ability to work effectively to meet the deadline
Good team player, service-minded and negotiation skills
Strong excel skills or Google Sheet
Strong knowledge in any MRP systems
Must be able to work under minimum supervision
