Senior Project Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• New Site Development & Commissioning
• Review and validate commissioning plans and sequence of operations (SOO) for critical systems (HVAC, power, fire, BMS, PMS).
• Participate in Testing & Commissioning (T&C) activities to ensure systems are installed and operating per specifications.
• Drive Site Acceptance Testing (SAT), witness testing, issue tracking, and resolution closure with vendors and contractors.
• Design Review & MEP Coordination
• Lead MEP design reviews during concept, schematic, and IFC stages.
• Coordinate between consultants, contractors, and internal teams to resolve design conflicts and ensure compliance with industry and internal standards.
• Review shop drawings, method statements, and material submissions for accuracy and constructability.
• Tenant Data Hall Fit-Out & Handover
• Coordinate white space readiness for tenant move-in, including rack space allocation, structured cabling, and power provisioning.
• Review and approve tenant fit-out layouts (rack plans, containment, power draw) to ensure alignment with base build constraints.
• Facilitate walkthroughs, inspections, and readiness sign-offs.
• Cross-Connect & Structured Cabling
• Plan and implement structured cabling, fiber/copper cross-connects, and containment for inter-rack, inter-room, and inter-carrier connections.
• Ensure compliance with documentation, labeling standards, and cable management best practices.
• Command Center / NOC Setup
• Lead setup of Network Operations Center (NOC) or Command Center including consoles, video wall systems, monitoring integration (DCIM, BMS, CCTV).
• Coordinate with IT, facilities, and security teams to ensure operational visibility and fault response readiness.
• Infrastructure Provisioning & Operations Network
• Oversee provisioning of operations network, Wi-Fi, IP telephony, and backend systems for staging rooms, offices, and critical operational zones.
• Coordinate with network and systems teams for VLAN/IP configuration, switch/firewall installation, and segmentation enforcement.
• Project Execution & Reporting
• Develop and manage project schedules, deliverable trackers, and issue logs.
• Lead coordination meetings, technical workshops, and site progress reviews.
• Monitor contractor performance, manage variations, and report project status to stakeholders.
• Documentation, QA/QC & Handover
• Ensure all technical and compliance documentation is reviewed, updated, and handed over in accordance with project closeout requirements.
• Drive QA/QC compliance and ensure project documentation includes: as-builts, test reports, cable schedules, and system manuals.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Telecommunications, or IT Engineering.
• PMP, CDCP/CDCS, or equivalent certifications are preferred.
• 58 years experience in data center infrastructure projects.
• Proven track record in managing new build/retrofit deployment, tenant onboarding, and T&C.
• Strong technical understanding of MEP, structured cabling, and operational network systems.
• Excellent project management, leadership, and stakeholder coordination skills.
• Skilled in reading and interpreting MEP drawings, network layouts, and rack designs.
• Familiar with DCIM, BMS, ITSM tools, and infrastructure monitoring systems.
